Shree Maruti Nandan – Fire Fighting division has strong engineering personnel having background and experience of working on 150+ industrial projects, handling different design standards & guidelines such as TAC, Indian Standards (IS), National Building Code, NFPA etc.

The team has experience dealing with various fire fighting consultants and projects having different types of fire hazards.

Firefighting consists of mainly two types of systems, Detection and Protection.

1. Fire Protection Systems

Fire Fighting Pump-House

  • Complete design of fire water requirement for the whole plant including the design of fire water reservoir based on the type of Fire hazard.
  • Sizing of Fire-fighting pumps, motor and diesel engine to provide adequate water in case of fire.
  • Complete automation of fire-fighting pump house with integration of pump panels & instruments like Pressure and Level instruments with PLC Panels & SCADA.

Hydrant system

  • Design of complete network of pipelines to provide water to each and every critical area of the plant

Dry and Wet water sprinkler system

High velocity spray systems for transformers protection

  • Water spray system designed for protection from fires due to Oil filled transformers, highly inflammable material where micro water droplets are required to create emulsification effect to extinguish fire and protect to equipment.

Medium velocity spray system for cable galleries, conveyors and many other applications

  • Water spray system designed to produced medium velocity water droplets to cool and extinguish fires produced in coal conveyers, cable galleries etc.

Gas based fire extinguishing systems (NOVEC 1230, IG 55 & IG 541)

  • Gas based extinguishing system provided to extinguish fires in high value electronic equipment, Panels, valuable machinery where water may cause the damage to the risk itself.

Passive fire protection

  • Utilization of specialized products like fire-retardant doors & paints to prevent fire from spreading on various surfaces like cables, furniture etc. and thus stopping extensive damage and provide life-safety

Medium and High expansion foam system

  • An application where foam flooding helps extinguish and prevents the spread of fire. Typically used in Oil and gas application as well in air craft hangers & places where water is not a suitable agent to fight fire.

Co2 flooding system

  • System designed for enclosed rooms and un-manned areas where Co2 gas helps extinguish the fire without any harm to human life.

Intelligent addressable as well as conventional fire alarm system

  • Design based on the area to be protected, fire alarm system gives exact and pin-point location of the origin of fire to any fix or remote device, display or mobile phones to alert user in case of fire
  • It can be integrated with protection / extinguishing system to immediately operate thus helping fighting fire without the need to human interference.

PLC system

  • Highly sophisticated Programmable Logic system designed for integration between Fire Protection and Detection system and can also be used as an interface to centralized monitoring system to observe continuous status of various safety systems
